Dillon Vieira Accident: How it Happened? What Was his Cause of death?

On Tuesday night, A. Vieira, a resident of Hesperia, sorrowfully passed away as a result of an “intentional” car accident that took place on Bear Valley Road. The San Bernardino County Coroner’s Office has confirmed that the 26-year-old driver of a Model S Tesla was traveling at a high rate of speed when he crashed into the back of a tractor-trailer just before 8 p.m. Though further investigation needs to be done in order to determine whether or not the fatal crash was due to negligence or other factors, this tragedy ultimately serves as a reminder for us all to drive with caution and think twice about our own personal safety before getting behind the wheel.

The force of the collision between the Tesla and semi-truck was immense, leaving behind a wake of destruction. The evidence was scattered across the street from where the semi came to rest west of 5th Avenue cleaning up debris that had spewed in all directions. The damage was so great that the Tesla crashed through the Mansfield bar attaching it to the trailer, lifting its tires high off the ground. Tragic and devastating, this scene painted a vivid picture of how powerful trying to be safe on such dangerous roads can be.

On the day of the accident, eyewitnesses say a vehicle was spotted travelling way above the speed limit at more than 100 miles per hour; However, tragedy struck as no brakes were ever heard during that time. When emergency responders from Victorville City Fire Department arrived to the site, they soon learnt that the victim, Vieira, had already passed away. Confirmed by Tricia Blake of the Sheriff’s office, findings of purposeful intent were found after examining recent statements given by the victim before his death along with evidence discovered at the location. It remains unknown why he drove off in haste on that fateful day but with such clear signs of intent, it will be difficult to answer.

It was reported that one man had taken his own life on Bear Valley Road. Despite being in the path of destruction, the driver of the semi-truck that had been involved was unharmed by the incident. The authorities conducted their investigation with caution, and consequently, the Westbound lanes of Bear Valley Road were closed down at 5th Avenue for an undisclosed amount of time. Once all the evidence had been collected and further inspected, it gave way to accepting what the scenario appeared to be—a suicide—which was later confirmed by the coroner’s office, taking away any misgivings as to it being anything other than what it actually had been.
