It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of the highly talented student-athlete Brady Hessbrook at Wayne State University on Friday, January 27th. Brady had achieved much in his short life, excelling both on and off the field as a gifted quarterback while also setting his sights high career-wise by transferring to Central Michigan to pursue a degree in global supply chain management. He was certainly a sparkling star among his peers and will no doubt be sorely missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Who was Brady Hessbrook?
Brady Hessbrook is a rising football superstar and the Saginaw MLive Offensive Player of the Year. He received his award after transferring from Saginaw Valley to Central Michigan, where he earned a degree in global supply chain management. His hard work on the field has paid off in multiple ways, as Brady graduated with honors this year and was chosen for the Division 7 All-State First Team by the Detroit Free Press. With natural talent and drive combined, Brady is making quite the name for himself this season, and it’s clear that we will be seeing more of him in the future.
According to the Michigan High School Football Coaches Association’s Division 7 First Team All-State, he completed a staggering 126 out of 184 passes for 1,980 yards and 30 touchdown passes with only three interceptions. His remarkable performance could be attributed to hard work, dedication, practice, and natural skill. His impressive achievement is indicative of the fact that with enough determination, any dream can be accomplished, no matter the challenge or barrier.
I am so, so excited to share this week’s #PathToGreatness story out of Ithaca football. An awesome comeback story for @bradyhessbrook with his dad @THessbrook on his side from the very start. Airs Wednesday night on @nbc25fox66!
