Joel Jacko and his wife Jacqueline Jacko have a daughter named Anzlie.
The couple first fostered Anzlie and later adopted her according to BBC Studio. The couple does not have any biological child yet.
Joel Jacko is a native of Pedro Bay, a small village on the northeastern tip of Iliamna Lake. He was raised in Chignik, Alaska, and belongs to the tribe Athabascan.
While Jacqueline was born and raised in Washington state, she fell in love with both Joel and Alaska while she was visiting the state for a vacation. She decided to settle with her two loves before adopting the third one.

The couple's daughter Anzlie belongs to the Yup’ik tribe, she was first fostered by Joel and Jacqueline and the couple later decided to adopt her.
In the new season of Life Below Zero: First Alaskans, the Jacko family tries to live 100% sustainably and Joel will pass down the knowledge crucial for survival to his daughter which he had learned from his father in his youth.
