Stella Grace Bright Accident: How It Happened
On Saturday, September 9, around 3:20 a.m., the North Carolina State Highway Patrol was called to respond to a tragic accident that took place in Iredell County, specifically on Brawley School Road near Mansfield Loop. The incident involved a 2014 Porsche 911, which was headed south on Brawley School Road. Unfortunately, the vehicle veered off the road to the right, leading to a collision with a tree, and subsequently crashed into a rock landscaping wall.
Tragically, the driver of the Porsche, 16-year-old Stella Grace Bright from Mooresville, did not survive the crash and passed away at the scene. There were two juvenile passengers in the car as well, and they sustained injuries and were rushed to local hospitals for medical treatment. It’s worth noting that the driver and front passenger were wearing seatbelts at the time of the accident, which likely played a crucial role in their survival. However, one of the juveniles was seated in the car’s back area, which was not intended for passengers and, regrettably, was not restrained.
As a result of this incident, Brawley School Road had to be closed in the vicinity for approximately three hours to facilitate the on-scene investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that excessive speed may have been a contributing factor in causing this tragic collision.
