On June 26, 2020, Tara Mangini and Percy Bright celebrated their ten years of togetherness. The pair has had a blissful relationship of around 12 years now. Even in the interview, Mangini mentioned they met twelve years ago in Philly in 2010.
In 2015, the couple celebrated their fifth anniversary with six courses Indian dinner in London.
When they met, Bright had brought a house and later departed from his job. As a jobless person, the couple started working on his house together. They began with an Esty Shop and sold vintage stuff.
On August 9, 2018, the designer wished her partner on his birthday. She added that Percy was her partner in all things. However, the designer could not celebrate his birthday as she was in Barcelona. She had thanked him and wished lifetime supply of Cherry Schweppes and a hole-in-one.
Mangini is one year older than Bright, as he was born in 1984. The designer is currently 38 years old.
Moreover, Mangini formed the company with her partner Percy Bright named Jersey Ice Cream Co in 2010. The couple has been highlighted in GQ, Architectural Digest, New York Times, and Elle.
Besides this, they have appeared in design blogs, including Design Sponge and Remodelista. The couple had brought an old house in upstate New York, and they would use their unique skills to create a dream house out of it.
Mangini and Bright are not trained in interior design. When they met, they both had done some graphic designing and advertising. They received their first big project in upstate New York.
On May 30, 2016, Mangini mentioned they packed their lives into a storage unit and a white van in 2012 and thought about what would be their first home renovation in upstate NY.
While living in Brooklyn, the couple was broke. They had a low budget for the projects as they had no money. They had struggled through their starting phase and finally led success and renovated their house, living in a temporary kitchen.
